Team vCreate Celebrate Scottish 10K Success

Congratulations to the vCreate runners who took part in the Scottish 10K on the 24th September in Musselburgh. The team raised £675 for the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity and the Helping Us Grow Group (HUGG), based at the Neonatal Unit at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.

The Scottish 10K route hugs the magnificent Golf Coast before runners finish the final furlong at Musselburgh Racecourse; Scotland’s oldest racecourse.

Dr. Neil Patel, Consultant Neonatologist at the Royal Hospital for Children, who also joined the vCreate runners on the start line said: “Thank you to vCreate for coming up to Scotland and competing in the Scottish 10K, and for their fantastic sponsorship efforts; the money raised will go a long way towards supporting our work.”

Ben Moore, Founder of vCreate, said: “There were a few sore limbs after the race last Sunday, but the team dug deep and got through the course. We feel honoured to have competed in the Scottish 10K for such an amazing charity.”

Didn’t get around to sponsoring the team ahead of the run? It’s not too late; please donate whatever you can and show your support for the work of the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity and the Helping Us Grow Group (HUGG), a unique collaboration of families and staff developing and implementing family integrated care in the neonatal unit.
