Abbie's NICU Superhero is Zoe from Royal Hampshire County Hospital!

     

Abbie has nominated Zoe from Royal Hampshire County Hospital to be a NICU Superhero this week!

This is because Zoe was such a support when her daughter, Maya, was born at 31 weeks and 6 days gestation and spent 3 weeks in neonatal care.

"We wanted to nominate Zoe for this award because she was absolutely incredible during Maya's NICU stay.

She kept us up to date and answered all of our burning questions.

Zoe would go out of her way to send multiple vCreate updates each day.

I really can't put into words how grateful we are to Zoe but she honestly made the whole experience easier.

We were always treated with respect, kindness and empathy.

Zoe's compassion towards her job doesn't go unrecognised.

The way we were treated put our minds at ease and helped our sanity.
