Beth from Jessop Wing in Sheffield is a NICU Superhero!

     

Amy has nominated Beth from Jessop Wing in Sheffield for our NICU Superhero Award. When Amy's twin boys, Beau and Ollie, spent time in the neonatal unit, Amy and her husband found Beth's care absolutely amazing.

Beau and Ollie spent 2 weeks in Jessop Wing after being born at 30 weeks and 5 days gestation. They were then transferred to a hospital closer to home.

"Beth is just the most lovely and helpful person. She became a friend to my husband and me which we really appreciated as the NICU can be a lonely place at times.

Beth was so professional and so caring. I knew my boys were in very safe hands.

I could talk to Beth about how I was feeling which was so important.

We lived about 90 minutes from the hospital and Beth kept us updated with vCreate when we couldn't be there.

Thank you so much for everything, Beth. We are forever grateful!
