Caroline from the William Harvey Hospital is Phoebe's NICU Superhero!

     

Phoebe has nominated Caroline from The William Harvey Hospital to be NICU Superhero this week!

Phoebe and her family wanted to say a huge thank you to Caroline for her support during their rollercoaster journey.

"I gave birth to twin boys at 28 weeks and 5 days gestation. Unfortunately, we lost our son, Ronnie, just 17 hours after he was born and my son, Dennie, had been through a rough time in the NICU.

Dennie was in the neonatal unit for 81 days and Caroline was amazing with all of us during this time.

She has stayed in contact with us even after we bought Dennie home, just to check we are OK.

I wouldn't be as strong as I am without her help and support.

A really big thank you from me, Max and Dennie. You are truly amazing."

Congratulations, Caroline! Your support and care for families is invaluable during very challenging times. You really deserve to be crowned NICU Superhero.
