Emma from Princess Royal Maternity Hospital is a NICU Superhero!

     

Lynn has nominated the wonderful Emma from Princess Royal Maternity Hospital for our NICU Superhero Award!

When her daughter, Piper, was born at 27 weeks and 6 days gestation due to severe preeclampsia, she was so grateful to Emma for her outstanding care.

"Piper spent 9 weeks and 1 day in the neonatal unit at Princess Royal Maternity Hospital. She was discharged at 37 weeks gestation and we got home 16 days before her official due date.

The care and love my little girl received from Emma was phenomenal.

I honestly don't know how I would have coped without Emma's support and help.

She always made time for all the parents and nothing was ever too much trouble for her. Emma was easy to talk to and made my journey so much easier.

My little girl loves all her aunties and uncles from this ward and we are so grateful for everything that the team has done."
