Gemma from James Cook University Hospital is a NICU Superhero!

     

Michael and Nicola have nominated the lovely Gemma from James Cook University Hospital for our NICU Superhero Award.

When their little boy, Joey, was born at 25 weeks and 2 days gestation, they were so grateful for the care she provided for them all.

"Gemma looked after our little man on many occasions!

She not only looked after Joey, but she looked after us too.

We are so grateful to Gemma for the advice, support, and time taken to just reassure us.

Gemma is so positive and is just great with everyone!

She really made our journey so much easier and even when she wasn't looking after Joey, she always found time to pop in and see how we were doing."
