New Video to Shed Light on the Neonatal Experience

     

With more than 90,000 premature and poorly babies receiving care in UK neonatal units each year, many families experience a difficult and unexpected journey which they may not have the words to explain.

We are honoured to have been able to work with the incredible teams at Thames Valley & Wessex Neonatal Network's ODN, the Parent Advisory Group and the Skye High Foundation. Together, we’ve co-produced a video resource that allows neonatal parents to share their unique journeys with family, friends and employers.

‘Walk a Mile in My Shoes’ shares a heartfelt collection of voice notes and photos from neonatal parents. It's our hope that this resource will not only shed light on the experience of hundreds of families but also guide others on how to best support the neonatal parent in their life.
