Our NICU Superhero this week is Bekki from the Royal Stoke University Hospital!

     

Megan has nominated Bekki from the Royal Stoke University Hospital to be crowned NICU Superhero this week. Megan's daughter, Poppy, spent 117 days in the neonatal unit at the Royal Stoke University Hospital where Bekki went above and beyond.

"Bekki looked after Poppy from when she was very poorly through to us going home. When Bekki was looking after her, I felt like I could relax as I knew she was in good hands.

I always felt like Bekki went above and beyond when caring for my daughter. She made me a little diary and she did her little handprints and footprints for me. When Poppy was older, she decorated her cot with some sensory lights.

Bekki's a credit to Royal Stoke and I'm so thankful for everything she did. Not only for me but my daughter too."
