Rae from Ninewells Hospital is Paige's NICU Superhero!

     

Paige has nominated Rae from Ninewells Hospital for our NICU Superhero Award because she took such wonderful care of her twin girls, Arla and Ella, during their neonatal stay.

"Rae was an absolute angel when our girls were born at 25 weeks gestation.

From helping us get hands on with their care after a scary first few days, to explaining procedures to us.

Rae was always there for a chat when I was at the NICU late at night or early in the morning.

4 months in the neonatal unit is a long time, especially when my partner had to go back to work.

I couldn't have done it without Rae's help."

Families are so grateful for your support when their little ones are in the NICU.

Arla and Ella have been home for over a year now and are doing really well.
