Seren, the super sister, is receiving our Best Buddy Sibling Award!

     

Seren's Mum, Gemma, has nominated her amazing daughter for our Best Buddy Sibling Award!

Seren, herself, was born at 27 weeks and 2 days gestation at Singleton Hospital in Swansea and spent 11 weeks in the neonatal unit. When her twin sisters, Thea and Isla, were born at 27 weeks and 1 day gestation, she proved to be an incredible big sister.

"Seren's twin sisters were born in the same hopsital as Seren. However, the older twin, Isla, was transferred to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff to await surgery. Thea came home after 4 months in the NICU and Isla came home after 5 and a half months.

During this time, Seren had to be looked after by family while we visited 2 different hospitals, miles apart.

Every day, Seren would ask to see new pictures of her sisters and ask what they had been doing that day.

Seren is an amazing big sister who loves to help and play with her sisters."
