Tracey, from the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, is Samantha's NICU Superhero!

Samantha's little boy, Colby, spent time in the neonatal unit at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley. During his time there, Tracey provided both Colby and his Mum, Samantha, with amazing care and support.

"When Colby was born, he was taken straight to the neonatal unit for help with his lungs. I was told he had to go on a ventilator and I was so scared and confused. Tracey was one of the nurses that cared for my little boy and she was beyond amazing with both of us.

Tracey would assure me that Colby was doing very well and talked me through the process of going from the ventilator to oxygen.

She always made sure that I was aware of all that was going on and that I understood it too.

Tracey was amazing with all the babies on the unit, not just Colby. She is so kind and patient, I am really grateful that I met her!

All the staff were amazing, thank you so so much."

Congratulations, Tracey! You are a real superhero. Well done to all the team at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, too.
