vCreate Wins Healthcare Technology of the Year at the National Technology Awards 2019

vCreate is thrilled to announce that we have won the Healthcare Technology of the Year Award at the National Technology Awards 2019!

The National Technology Awards celebrate the very best technologies that the UK has to offer at a glittering awards ceremony in London; hosted this year by comedian, Lucy Porter.

vCreate was shortlisted twice. First, in the Healthcare Technology of the Year category, and again in the Technology for Good category; for our work providing a secure video system that enables NHS Neonatal Units and Paediatric Units to reassure and comfort families through video updates when they are not able to be with their child in hospital. The videos that nurses make for parents also help to reduce separation anxiety that is known to lead to post traumatic stress and depression.

Ben Moore, Founder of vCreate, says:

"We're over the moon to receive this award; I would like to thank each and every one of our NHS units, their charities and of course the families who use our technology for their continued support. With their support we have been able to build a strong and sustainable initiative that is making such a positive impact on people's lives and reaching them at a time when they are at their most vulnerable.

I would like to personally congratulate all of the organisations shortlisted in both categories; we were up against some amazing organisations and are humbled and honoured to have been shortlisted, let alone to have won, it's wonderful!"
